SENIOR CHOIR

The Senior Choir, the oldest organization, has served the congregaton as early as 1860 when the first Mission Festival was held here at Trinity. The choir sang "A Mighty Fortress is Our God" to over four hundred people attending. In 1921, a brass band was organized and directed by Mr. Elmer Bramstedt. During its tenture, the band would perform at every outdoor Mission Festival at Trinity. We no longer have a brass band, but at special worship services we still have members playing their instruments to help beautify our worship services. Our Senior Choir is presently under the direction of Mrs. Mary Ann Grunewald. The choir enriches the services in God's House with appropriate selections inspiring its listeners.

CHRISTIAN WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP

C.W.F. (organized in April, 1976) meets once a month September through May. Some of their projects include, gathering offerings for various mission projects, sending cards to hospitalized church members, making and hanging bannners in church, preparing a monthly Prayer Calendar to be published in the Trinity Triangle, collecting canned food for the Thanksgiving food drive, visiting new moms and their babies, making "love paks" for college students, helping with the Father/Son Banquet and our annual Spaghetti Supper. They also lend prayerful and financial aid to missionaries in the field. The most recent being Alvina and the late Dale Federwitz. As the need arises and other issues come to their attention, The C.W.F. never hesitates to get involved and lend their aid.

TRINITY MEN'S CLUB

The Men's Club meet once a month from September through May. They begin their evenings with a light snack, followed by a Bible Study, before moving on to a business meeting where they discuss ways and means to help the church and other Christian organizations grow in a spiritual or financial manner. In the past they have donated funds to such organizatons as Lutheran Hour Ministries, Bethesda, Lutheran World Relief. They also help with the spaghetti supper for Lutheran High, the annual Father/Son Banquet and promote Trinity by entering the fleat in various local parades.

ALTAR GUILD

The guild meets twice a year, April and October, to discuss changes and to keep everyone current. Otherwise, they are kept busy year round by setting up for communion services, taking care of flowers for the church, changing paraments and other various duties regarding care of the altar. Judy Luecke has been treasurer since its inception on March 12, 1963.

THE QUILTERS BERGADE

This group of ladies sew quilts at our church. They use materials that have been donated by congregation members. Approximately 90 quilts are sewn each year for Lutheran World Relief and sent with the Box Car in October. They meet every Monday at 1:00 pm and work about 3-4 hours.

SUNDAY SCHOOL (Nursery, Kindergarten, Grades 1 - 8)

The Sunday school teachers meet the first Tuesday of each month. Pastor Bergelin and our vicar lead with a Bible study, and plan how to present the lessons to the children in a way that relates it to their everyday lives.

The children sing together as a choir during the year in church. They also put on a Christmas program. The offerings they give are distributed to various organizations in the area. At the end of the year, the children receive perfect attendance certificates, pins and appropriate grades receive Bibles, Catechism, and Bible Dictionaries.

TRINITY BOWLING LEAGUE

We have a winter mixed bowling league which starts in October and runs thru May. All dates are on Sunday evenings, once a month, and held at JB"s Entertainment Center, Howards Grove.
